Core Issues
While there are many areas of focus for Mendota Heights City Council, the below three issues are near and dear to my heart. Involving the community, protecting an environment, and scaling our infrastructure are key to long-term success in Mendota Heights. If you'd like my view point on any other issues, please contact me!
Community Involvement
As the demographics of Mendota Heights change and our neighboring communities develop at rapid pace, my number one concern is ensuring that the community is involved, heard, and represented in all decisions made by the council. I want to work towards more outreach, transparency, and accessible distribution of information. We need to consider this changing demographic as we assess commercial and residential development plans, city-sponsored activities, and our parks.

Natural Resources
Mendota Heights is full of beautiful green space and spacious residential lots, making our city a desirable place to live. We must take care of our city by investing in a natural resources conservation plan, working against invasive species like Emerald Ash Borer without impacting our overall tree cover, promoting pollinator-friendly policies, and supporting homeowner efforts towards sustainable practices -- including bees, rain gardens, removal of invasive species and planting of native species.

Infrastructure
In order to maintain safety, beauty, and resident satisfaction, I want to see Mendota Heights remain committed to a plan to improve roads, sewer lines, and trails on a continuous basis. We need to ensure this debt is not pushed on to future generations at an emergency cost
